This may have been something of a warm up for the Staples Ctr. hubba that came years later, and similarly (to my knowledge) the ledge at Le Dome had never been touched. I shot this as a sequence which I initially wanted to shoot in color but I may have run out of color film, or the open shade didnt have enough
daylight to shoot it in color.
Anyhow, I’m glad its B&W because it gives it a timeless feel because he’s small 
in the frame and you don't see any dated logos, just a classic pair of low-top @vans that was a bit unusual for guys to wear if they skated big stuff like this. Geoff's skating and his timeless sense of style was way ahead of it time.

The print comes signed & dated w/white border.
